Tesla CEO Elon Musk Declares 2018 as Company's "Most Successful Year"

A sales manager at Tesla's Newport Beach-Fashion Island location, Naymon Frank has consistently achieved top sales rankings for Southern California. Since joining the company in 2016, Naymon Frank has been ranked among the top 10 salespeople globally, the top 5 in North America, and as No. 1 in his region.

In a recent company update from Tesla's CEO Elon Musk, the company announced significant car sales in 2018. Describing 2018 as "the most successful year" in the company's history, Musk said Tesla delivered nearly as many cars in a single quarter as it had in 2017, and almost as many cars in 2018 as it had in its entire history up to that year. Also in 2018, Tesla's Model 3 earned the title of No. 1 best-selling premium vehicle in the United States.

Looking toward the future, Tesla plans to focus its attention on delivering the mid-range edition of its Model 3 to all markets, including Europe and Asia. The goal is to provide appropriately priced vehicles to reach more customers. Delivering lower-priced editions of the Model 3 is also a priority. In addition, the update says one of the company's main challenges in 2019 will occur on July 1, when the federal electric vehicle tax credit is reduced by half.
